May Day Street Fayre - West Looe

Celebrate the coming of summer in and around the quayside at West Looe with a traditional May fayre.
The focus for the day will be a Maypole in West Looe Square. Anyone can join in the dancing, which revives an ancient tradition to mark the end of winter with the promise of spring and summer to come.
The streets will throng to local musicians and dancers including West Looe favourites the Minor Quay shanty group and the Ladies' Choir leading the community singing.
Local groups and organisations will have stalls, with competitions and games in and around Fore Street, Princes Street, Church Street and West Looe Square.
