The Looe Guide - the official Looe Tourist Information Centre website

Accessibility

Every year many people with disabilities of all kinds enjoy holidays in Looe. Nevertheless we are aware that not everywhere in the town is accessible to all.

Looe is a historical fishing village and that is the main reason that many people visit. Because of this there are still some places and shops etc that do not have suitable access for everybody.

Even so, there is access to both East and West Looe seafront and East Looe Town Trust have a sand chair that can be used on the main beach. The South West Coast Path heading west from Looe can be followed across level fields for 3/4 mile before any steps are reached. This gives great views of Looe Island.

There is limited disabled parking in East Looe but the Millpool car park in West Looe has plenty of spaces. It is possible to drive through the town to access the seafront at East Looe but there is only space to drop people off, not to park.

Blue Badge holders with vehicles with zero tax should register here with Cornwall Council before travelilng to ensure free parking in their car parks.
