Type: Industrial Archaeology

The oldest engine in Cornwall, (1840-1930), now restored to working condition under steam power. Operated by volunteers from the Trevithick Society & Volunteers from the National Trust and managed and owned by the National Trust.

Cornish Mining World Heritage Site Attraction.

Nearest major road is B3306. Levant Road is directly off the B3306 in the village of Trewellard opposite the Trewellard Arms Hotel. Continue on Levant Road to car park at the end of road. South West Coast Path passes entrance.
