Type: Historic Site

Originally occupied almost 2000 years ago, the village contained eight stone-walled homesteads, each with a central courtyard surrounded by thatched rooms. The houses form one of the oldest village streets in the country. Many unusual species of birds and an abundance of wild flowers and heather. These courtyard houses are only found on the Land's End penisula and the Isles of Scilly.
