Boconnoc is 3 miles east of Lostwithiel. The grounds are the largest park in Cornwall and the parish church of Boconnoc can be found there. The magnificent 18th century house, which has been extensively restored, is open for weddings, events, parties and exhibitions.

FROM M5 / A30
From M5 take the A30 to Bodmin.
At Bodmin come off the bypass and turn onto A38 to Liskeard.
About 2 miles after passing Bodmin Parkway Railway station, turn right (signposted to East and West Taphouse and Looe/Polperro - B3359).
Continue on this road to the "T" junction.
Turn left onto the A390 and take the third turning on right, which is after about a mile and is immediately as you enter Middle Taphouse. It is signposted to Pelynt / Looe B3359. (As you turn right, on the left-hand corner is a bungalow with a trellis fence). Go down this road and take the next right (sign posted Boconnoc), then follow the directions below:- ***
FROM M5 / A38
From M5 take the A38 to Plymouth.
Go over Tamar Bridge and carry on towards Liskeard.
Bypass Liskeard and continue West on the A38. Go uphill on the Dobwalls Bypass until you get to a new roundabout and take the second exit onto A390 to St. Austell.
After 3 miles you will come to a small hamlet called East Taphouse, see garage on right, continue round a steep right-hand bend and up a short hill. Take the next left signposted to Looe / Polperro B3359. Continue along this road past Calamazag Nurseries on your right. Take the next right and almost immediately 1st left. Then follow directions given below:- ***
A390 from St Austell
Go through Lostwithiel on the A390, heading towards Liskeard. As soon as you reach Middle Taphouse, turn right signposted to Looe / Polperro B3359. (As you turn right, on the left-hand corner is a bungalow with a trellis fence). Go down this road and take the next right (signposted Boconnoc), then follow directions from:- ***
*** Drive down the road and take the 1st right (sign posted Boconnoc). Continue along the road which gently winds through woods until you come to a T-junction. Opposite you will see the main entrance with a lodge house on the left. Drive across and into the Estate and continue down the drive. Bear left on the main drive and left again at the Obelisk. Continue down the drive past a second lodge and straight down across the crossroads until you come to Boconnoc House.
To reach the Stable Yard and the Estate Office bear right in front of Boconnoc House gates, and, after 35 yards, bear left into the Stable Yard. (From the first Lodge the distance is at least a mile.) Park on the right hand side and you will see a sign directing you to the Estate Office, up the stone stairway.
N.B. Satellite Navigation does not work correctly after Middle Taphouse.
