Looe’s museum is housed in the towns 15th century Guildhall and gaol and still includes the judge’s bench and former cells. There’s an amazing variety of exhibits on display, including a 2000 year old tin ingot, relics of the towns pilchard trade with Italy, the remains of a US bomber from World War II and much more.

Disabled access is very restricted due to the design of the building. However, the curator has collated files of information on displays on the ground floor for the use of those who cannot manage stairs.
Dogs welcome on leads if well behaved.
